STEPHANIE HARVILLE PH.D.

I was raised in small town Arkansas and have lived in Searcy for over 15 years. Arkansas is truly a beautiful state. I spend my free time on the lake and in nature. My flower garden is one of my favorite things to enjoy and share with others. I truly believe nature is healing.

I was taught at a very young age to listen to your voice and body. This has been an important part of my understanding God, life, people, and therapy. I began to understand that when trauma, hurt, and addiction are present we lose our ability to hear our healthy selves. I see people and relationships from a wholistic lens, which guides my approach to helping others process their struggles. I’m passionate about helping others work through the hard to find their healthy selves.

ALISSON SHARP

Sharing our story is something that is raw, vulnerable, and beautiful. Being able to be part of that process is something that I honor as a therapist and tend with the utmost respect and care. I am passionate to help clients walk through all aspects of the healing process and create a place of safety where they can be seen and heard.

I am trained as a Certified Sexual Addiction Therapist, Certified Multiple Addiction Therapist, Certified Trauma Therapist, Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing and Safe and Sound Protocol. Over the past 10 years I’ve had the privilege of working at Capstone Treatment Center where I’ve worked with adolescent males and their families.

I’ve lived in Searcy, AR since 2006. I enjoy spending time with my husband, two sons and golden doodle.

I am a licensed professional counselor (AR#P1701205) and supervisor with a master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Harding University.   I have completed training for EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and BSP (Brainspotting), specialty trainings for assisting clients with multiple issues, including PTSD, anxiety and depression. EMDR and BSP are techniques used within the context of other therapeutic modalities. They allow individuals the opportunity to desensitize traumatic memories and fearful responses and to develop new realities about themselves and their experiences. I have certifications as a CSAT and CMAT that equip me to assist in addressing the therapeutic issues that arise from sexual addictions and partner traumas as well as issues regarding financial and eating disorders. I am EFT trained, and IFS informed. These modalitiespromote understanding relationship with self and others, are rooted in theories of attachment and have the shared goals of creating healthy attachment with self and others.

I focus on working with anxiety, trauma, addictions, and relational challenges, helping people and couples find safety, renewed hope, and connection with themselves and the important people in their life.  I have a keen interest in fostering the development of attachment between parents and children, in individuals and between couples.   I work primarily with adolescents and adults.

I bring significant life experience into my practice.  I have been married since 1988, to my best friend. We have 4 adult children together and are enjoying the experience of grandparenting.  As a young mother, I spent 17 years volunteering with mothers and infants to foster attachment and healthy parenting between mother and child.  I am passionate about recovery, hope, and redemption and sharing a path to health with clients.  Therapy creates a space for safe exploration of truths, hurts, and shame that we hold deep within our soul. It creates a chance to be empathically witnessed and heard.  It allows for the exploration of self and our deepest need to trust ourselves as we reach outward for connection with others.  It encourages us to move toward healthy interactions with self and with others. It provides a structure for moving out of addiction and onto a path of hope, recovery, and redemption.  It is my privilege to walk alongside those who are courageous enough to pursue healthy change.

I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor with a masters degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. I’m trained in EMDR and Brainspotting and am certified as a Trauma Trained Professional. My core competence is helping people identify their unique goodness, power, and beauty and live in alignment with that.

I’ve been married to the same unbelievable woman for almost 25 years, and there’s no one on the planet I’d rather hang out with.  Together we have 5 kids that range from junior high to college age, so that’s pretty crazy.  As a family we do a lot of outdoorsy stuff (backpacking, rock climbing, canoeing) and love to travel around doing weird stuff and seeing what we can see. Personally, I like to build things, write, work on businesses, and follow my curiosity wherever it goes.

TAYLOR HOLSONBACK

Originally from Southeast Ohio and rooted in Arkansas for the past decade, I practice from a holistic, trauma-informed framework that integrates the mind, body, and spirit. My work is shaped by extensive experience in complex trauma and addiction treatment, with a focus on somatic awareness and healing practices, including Trauma-Informed Yoga, that helps clients reconnect with their bodies and regulate the nervous system.

I am trained in EMDR, Brainspotting, Trauma-Informed Yoga, and the Safe and Sound Protocol. I hold certifications as a Certified Trauma Therapist and Certified Sex Addiction Therapist. Prior to private practice, I served as Assistant Clinical Director at Capstone Treatment Center, where I worked extensively with individuals and families navigating trauma, compulsive behaviors, and relational disruption.

I believe therapy is most transformative when it moves beyond symptom management and toward restoration of true core connection—with ourselves, with others, and with God. It is an honor to guide that work with experience, intention, and genuine care, helping clients heal not only emotionally, but physically and relationally as well.

Outside of work, I enjoy hiking, yoga, reading, and spending time with my husband, son, and furry chaos coordinator (dog) Lucy.

I enjoy working with individuals and families that seek healing and healthy connection in their relationships with others and within themselves. I believe working with these clients is a privilege and I embrace the partnership to walk along side them to identify the change they desire and to provide the ways to accomplish change. I consider it my role to provide the support and space needed to allow them to engage in the challenging therapeutic process that is oftentimes unknown and sometimes intimidating to help them navigate the path to health. I also respect the choice and decision that a client holds about seeking change and finding what they truly value and desire. I value wellness that is both sustainable in the long-term and brings joy and excitement to life.

I have worked in the residential treatment setting to help young men and their families work through the struggle with addictive and avoidance patterns with a family systems approach to help them regain control over their lives and future in ways that promote replacing unhealthy habits with positive ones

Helping others navigate the “well” in farewell, the reality of life after loss, and capture hope in the pendulum of pain and pleasure is what I enjoy most. My aim is to not just make hope attainable, but a lived experience for those I encounter. I am trained as a Certified Trauma Therapist (CTT), Certified Sex Addictions Therapist (CSAT), in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) and Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP). I utilize a variety of modalities to work alongside you in the hard and heart work for lasting change.

Spending the last several years working with individuals and families at a trauma-focused treatment center, I specialize in capturing hope in and after struggle. Healing isn’t magic and restoration isn’t instant. My job is to make healing and restoration your reality…and it’s your job too. We’ll work together.

After spending over 29 years as a pastor, I transitioned into full-time therapy work at Capstone Treatment Center in 2021. I have had the privilege of working with young men ages 14 to 26. Working with these young men and their families has been rewarding. My work has allowed me to witness real change take place in the family as a whole. Helping individuals and families navigate through the effects of past trauma is difficult but fulfilling.

I believe healing starts with connection and creating a space where you feel seen, heard, and valued. Together, we’ll work to foster self-compassion, understanding, and resilience. I’m here to support you in embracing your strengths, recognizing your worth, and finding peace. With over 15 years of experience, I have had the privilege of supporting children, teens, and adults as they courageously strive toward wholeness.

I grew up in rural Central Arkansas and have lived here for all but 6 years of my life. Those 6 years were spent in the Ozarks of Missouri. I currently live in Searcy with my husband, Matt, and our two kids. When I’m not at Vine + Root, you’ll most likely find me at my kids’ practices and games or attending their school events. We are a sports loving family, so we love cheering on our favorite teams in just about every sport. I love to travel and engage in new experiences and places with my family. When I have time alone, I love to listen to a good audiobook, podcast, or watch an enjoyable show, and just introvert as much as I can.
